What are Superior Courts?
Superior Courts serve as each county's court of general jurisdiction. The state is divided into 49 superior court circuits, each circuit consists of one or more whole counties. Superior Courts have jurisdiction in all felony cases, cases involving divorce, and real property. Superior Court judges are elected in non-partisan elections.
