This is an easy-to-use online text analysis tool. To use this tool, input text into the textbox below and press the Analyze Text button. This tool will process user-supplied text to calculate basic characteristics of the text such as number of words used, words per sentence, multi-syllable words. Based on these characteristics, the tool reports popular metrics of the grade-level of text and a composite score based on the average of all of these metrics. Finally, the tool identifies keywords in the text.
